Tianjin Yicheng overcomes the shortcomings of traditional general contractors and launches an industrial Internet operation and maintenance platform
Tianjin Yicheng Group Co., Ltd. was initially established in 2008 in Tangshan and relocated to Tianjin in 2017. Currently situated in Tianjin, one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government, it is a large-scale engineering enterprise with general contracting qualifications for electromechanical installation engineering.
To address the shortcomings of traditional general contractors who "emphasize construction over operation," Tianjin Yicheng developed an industrial internet operation and maintenance platform. In the Shanxi Jinnan Steel project, this platform improved the accuracy of equipment fault prediction and reduced losses from unplanned shutdowns. By connecting a large number of sensors and analyzing equipment operation data in real time, it forms a closed-loop system of "status monitoring-fault diagnosis-predictive maintenance."
Resource integration strengthens competitive advantage
Relying on the industrial chain ecosystem formed by foreign investment, Tianjin Yicheng achieved a high level of key equipment localization in the Shandong Rizhao advanced steel manufacturing base project. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, North China Building Materials Design Institute, provides customized process packages, and its joint venture, Zhongyun Development Company, ensures logistics efficiency, effectively reducing the overall project cost. This "investment, construction, and operation" synergy mechanism enhances the ability to undertake national-level projects.
